Losing the toss, the Ogre immediately went onto the offensive thanks to a deep kick and a long return by Ori, who was stopped before crossing the half and allowing Librut to grab the ball and make a break towards the end line.

However, the Ogres were undone in their eagerness to take the fight to the Dwarves and a outrageous throwing playing and dodge by Longbeard Kili leveled things on the stroke of halftime.

The Ogres then demonstrated their renowned steamroller play - smashing their way up the pitch, despite four of the team forgetting what they were doing upon kick off.
