“The Heroes today continued their inexplicable streak of good luck. No, not the winning games kind of luck. Simply the ability to survive unscathed! No lingering injuries, nobody is going to miss next week's game, nada. Amazing, especially against a team with 4 Black Orcs!
Farsi is proving to be a true phenomenon, having scored in each of his first two games. Strider, Dawn, keep an eye on this cat, he's very rapidly replacing one of you as #1 on the depth chart. Better pick up the pace! Fritz is also starting to get a better rapport with his receivers, connecting on 4 important passes, including the bomb to Farsi for the score.
Towards the end of the second half of play it looked like Strider was going to run in the winning score, but some lucky go-for-it rolls by enemy orcs knocked him silly. They then took the ball and rumbled down the left sideline, their BO's keeping all chances of knock downs away. (Dalvo the Ogre was sleeping soundly on the sidelines after a nice open-field tackle.) They scored on the very last play of the game, to rob us of our tie.
With no lost players for a change, and a favorable news article written increasing both attendance and payoff, we now welcome our newest Hero, Zahn the Blitzer! Welcome, and we hope you're as good a recruit as Farsi has been.
Forward, Heroes!”
