The key moment in the game actually occured midway through the second half, when the gobbos lost both trolls KO'd. As the casualty rate mounted and more gobbos joined them on the bench, the dark elves stalled the ball to pick off the rest. After the dark elf equaliser, the gobbos never had enough players on the pitch during extra time to fight off the winning touchdown.
So - on to the next round - and a meeting with another stunty team - either more gobbos, or hobbits...
