“Fumbbl Cup Round 1:

My first ever major game, and what a premiere!!! I only entered the game to support the cup, and hadn't in my wildest dream thought I would win a game. Especially not when meeting a superior +50 TS orc team.

But luck and Nuffle can do terrible and wonderful things. Unfortunately we had to reload in the end, so there's no replay.

But just a couple of examples:

First TD my DP lineman picks up the ball in 2 TZ's, dodges away and makes a long pass (incomplete) down the field to my lone blitzer. Opponent tries to kill him, but only gets push backs, so next turn he can 1d blitz, pick up ball in 1 TZ, dodge away for the score. 1-0!!!

Then EVA starts killing my players and scores to 1-1 before the break.

Second half. I have 8 players left, and EVA starts with the ball. He double skulls and two of my blitzers runs downfield towards the ball. My AG4 stripballer gets knocked out, but my block/guard blitzer dodges, makes a succesfull -2D blitz against the ballholder, catches the ball in 2 TZ's and dodges away. The ball is stripped away from the turn after, but then he just 1d blitzes, picks up the ball in 2 TZ's again and dodges away for the score!!! 2-1 with 2 turns to go.

I've never seen lucky plays like that before. And my 7 remaining players just manages to defend the victory, as a BoB fails his GFI blitz to free the orcs supposed to score.
