Early ejection of one of my opponent's 2 DPs was lucky. I was expecting this to be a much grittier game. Dropping the sure hands pick up on turn 1 was almost a disaster. His vampires are talented enough to stick themselves where they don't belong. The first drive, if you watch it, it sort of sloppy. And if you watch on the later turns of his first half drive I make a few poor decisions on positioning as well.
OFAB is always hit or miss, I spent the last half of the first half begging for one to go off. They came around in the 2nd half, but not in any significant way. The pitch invasion was lopsided and strong, and I almost screwed it up, allowing him to move the ball past all my pressure. Stalling was a hard, but obvious choice, since it looked like it would result in some crowd surfing (it did), but his vampires are too talented to let them have even 2 turns.
Never got anything really going against the elves. Despite 4 tacklers I hardly got any of them off the pitch. My fouls were ineffective, with one DP missing the game ('n'), one getting called off immediately, and one spending the better part of the game KOed.
My one TD was on a scramble play, as I never got solid control of the ball at any point. A combination of gazing and passing from in TZs got me a T8 score. Second half started with a 4-0 pitch invasion, and the ball was exposed the entire drive, at least until I lost control of it. Despite innumerable 2dbs, I mostly pushed elves around all game, and at the end I was unable to take it away from the elf catcher stalling near his own end.
GG Relezite, and gl with Apojar's dorfs next round.”
