“Awesome first Premiership game for the Tunnellers. Had to reload at 1-1, with 2 turns left to each team.
Thanks for the game Grit. Nuffle certainly favoured me in the last turn, but tight, edgy game from start to finish. Great fun to play in.
Looking forward to the dark elves, but the shadow of PeteW's unreasonably overpowered chaos team lurks beyond. Something pretty good had better come out of the handicaps.... 8)”
“Aanother costly draw for Kung Pow, which has been a feature of the past 2 seasons.
Kung Pow bossed the first half, turning back the dwarf drive and then taking the ball.
Some dodging GFI action though brought the blodge bull ball carrier down the next turn though and Kungpow could not grab the ball in the resulting scrum, those pesky AG4 dwarves did though....
Last turn of the half, kungpow recovered the ball and attempted handoff to the bull in scoring position, but no dice
2nd half started with some even bashing before with dwarves out of position Kung Pow broke through and screened any chasing of the carrier.
A few turns of stalling resulted, but again those pesky AG4 dwarves proved too pesky to risk a full stall and Kung Pow elected to score early instead.
The Tunnellers then went for a quick score sending receivers down both sides (ive yet to get used to the idea of genuine dwarf receivers!)
Kung Pow flattened one of the AG4 receivers off the pitch and marked the other one.
The marked dwarf contemptuously ignored the fact though as the ball was passed to him, caught it in tacklzones, dodged through tackles zones and GFI'd for the score- rr not required.
2 turns left and Kung Pow set up to flood one side of the field.
Aall went well and a solid sideline cag was formed with the ball carrier in it tucked up safe.
The dwarves put up what defence they could, but surely it wouldnt be enough....
Needing only 2 pushback results on 2d to clear the way, the dice were skull both down, rr double skull!
The game was over and it would seem Kung Pow are set for another seasons battling against relegation on this form!
gg and gl with the Tunnellers this season, go slay some elves!”
