OCCS Albion Regional Challenge 10/09 [TR200], final.

Hard match, only last turns dodge + 2x GFI gained us a TD.

Edit: My original dwarf team build idea is to have everyone with +ST, just haven't had any yet, so have to go with guards and mb's. Tbh can't see a dorf team being very successfull without them. Anyways, a theme based on a luck of your skill rolls is an original idea, gl with that =)

PS. You didn't say 'gg' after the match =,(

Edit2: So does this mean I can't comment on missing 3 players prior to game or do any AG2 dodges next time?? Damn, my options are getting rather limited ;)

Edit3: Yea, I was thinking of making a pure skeleton team with nothing but +MA's, that'll be a blast...
Don't you think it would be about time to let go of that previous match, as it only happened over 5 months ago? This shouldn't be so serious. And for the record, I think you need to try a race before you can declare it non-challenging.

I don't get people who whine like babies about bad luck by turn 2, keep whining by turn 5 even when they are 2 players up and have a good chance of scoring and then ending up winning by insane luck in T8 and not even having the guts to apologize for it.

It would have been sweet to win this one. GM's smug comment about "How's it working out for ya" regarding my original team build (in difference to him chosing the obligatory guard and MB on every player) would have choked him up nicely, but of course he stopped my TD chance by a string of dodges, GFI's and a blitz and then won after dodging into a guarded tackle zone, picking up the ball, long passing it to his one free player and then dodge GFI'ing it across the TD line in turn 8.

We have a discussion about ethics in our last match where you started spite fouling me when you were losing. I have no doubt that you'll find me unfair this time either.

Edit: You logged out before I was finished writing my sentence. I was writing that at least it was exciting, which is something that I rarely experience playing dwarf teams. Oh, and your skill choices has nothing to do with your inability of acknowledging your own luck when you are so quick to point out others. I totally understand complaining about bad luck. After all, this is a luck based game. But when you are so quick to point out your own bad luck and then sit quiet when the match turns and you keep making strings of AG 2 dodges and other lucky stuff to keep from losing, and then have a completly bizarre turn 8 where you turn a very near defeat into a win, it makes you look bad. That's all. I hope we get a better next match.

Edit3: Well, you always have the option of spite fouling me if you lose, like you did in the match before this one. Cheerio and good luck with playing your challenging teams in the OCC.
