“A "rotten" debut for Jobu's Zombie Army was mitigated only by the chaotic play of both sides. From elves who could not throw to zombies devoid of regeneration, the game was a comedy of errors which justly ended in a 1-1 draw. Dummie 9, 1 and 13 racked up casualties for the Crash Test Elves, including sending Corpses Christy back to the boneyard where he belonged. Orgando Ner got a measure of revenge, scoring the only casualty for the JZA. An imprssive drive for the Elves was capped by a touchdown by Dummie 8 as they scored quickly in the second half. A depleted JZA defense was saved from a second touch down allowed by an interception from werewolf Harry Chest, who also scored the team's touch down. Cad Aver, who left the gae with a serious injury was named MVP for the JZA, while the Crash Test Elves MVP went to Dummie 10.

The JZA's necromancer will have his work cut out as he tries to patch together the team and "dig up" a pair of replacements.”
