Final against rats, that had booted 2 more to bring their numbers to 13. Handicap was Bad Press - of course. But soon it became clear, that the ref was on my side. First their only DP got ejected on his first foul (taking my apo with him). Then the ref caught me on the second foul (when I killed his guard/MB vermin, who was saved by the apo), but I managed to argue and bring in two more fouls for two more KOs. Unfortunatelly at that point, of the game odi was more successful in his 1d blocks than me in my 2d blocks and he also scored more breaks against AV9 than I did against AV7, so even though I had 7 turns to tie, halftime still saw me trailing 2-0 and my troll was KOed by a rock (so much for the PR) and refused to come out of the box until overtime. Second half - as in the last 3 games now - was mine. I finally manged my first cas-by-block and that was his guard/MB vermin that I wanted to target by foul. The foul niggled his other vermin the same turn. With all dangerous players out, the chaosdorfs walzed it in, BHing the freebooted gutter and scoring another KO. The OTS try of the rats was came quite far, they managed to roll the needed push on a 1d blitz, brought their gutter into position, but fortunatelly the needed 5+ for the catch in 3 TZ failed. Overtime saw rats recovered (cept the 2nd gutter) and recieving. Bad kick gave the ball right into the hands of the dauntless gutter and I already saw me unable to bring the blodger down and trailing again, but his blitz failed to punch a hole into the line and he didn`t want to risk a 3+ dodge with the gutter who would have been all alone in my backfield. So he waited - big mistake. With blocks and boots, the dorfs slowly cleared the pitch, always doubling/trippling on any possible reciever. After his gutter had seriously injured the hobo chasing him, he made a break for the endzone. I needed 2 GFI to bring my CDB in as an assist for the bull to blitz, but the dorf tripped and ate the reroll. But thankfully the bull found a POW on the 3 dice and I could cover the ball with 2 TZ. Odi now went for the now-or-never play, his linerat 1d POWed (again - his 1d blocks were nearly always POW) the lonely dorf covering it and ran into the endzone, but the gutter tripped and fell on the 3+ dodge and came down stunned next to the ball. The bull for pretty much the first time in the tourney did something right, he managed the pickup (eating my last reroll) and galloped uncontested (and thankfully without GFI) into the endzone in the last turn. The curse that rendered my CDBs unable to skill was lifted, when a 5 SPP dorf BHed a linerat in overtime, so the MVP could go to another dorf, who also skilled! In addition, a 6 on winnings! (Compared to 4 as the sum of the 3 rolls during the tourney). And off we go into replacing the injured.

Thx for the game. With my buddy ref, there was little you could do.
