“The Greenies opened the match receiving the ball with a wide front. After getting stalled up the middle by a ferocious counter-charge by the Khemri mummies (ko-ing a BOB) they swept left. The Slayers hurried to respond and managed to get a wall of skellies in the way. By this point most players were locked into tackle zones and a good old fashioned scrum developed. Naffle broke the Slayers way and Greenies were quickly robbed of rerolls and the ball. Although it took some time, eventually Osorus Backstabber scooped up the ball and headed downfield. The rest of the two teams were content to bash it out though and the Slayers got the upperhand with a Lineorc badly hurt by Raetra the Relentless and a blitzer badly hurt by the crowd.

Second half started similar to the first with the Slayers blocking and fouling Greenies off the field. (Only KOs though). Eventually the Greenies were outmanned and forced to run for their very lives. That's when disaster struck and Buadagh Horse-gut, in his desperate attempt to get away from a grasping mummy tripped and killed himself! The crowd sat in stunned silence...then erupted into massive cheers! First DEATH of the NAFFLE season for the Slayers! Osorus was selected the ballhandler for the second drive and he scored late giving the Slayers the 2-0 victory.

One skill roll went to Osorus Backstabber, and with a name like that there was only one choice...mmwhahahahahaha!”
