#3 Extrapolated Eructation II – Broken Ribs (MNG)
Really was a game of two halves.

Looked all over at one point. Silked Spectre mk2 ripped a lovely 1d pow to pop the ball mid first half and the seekers' legend Extrapolated Eructation II caught fright at the sight of the looming ogre, immediately failed to dodge and binned himself. He's had a case of the nerves since he got injured - in 4 games, he's only managed to stay on the pitch for all of about 6 turns. I think retirement will suit him ;)

Luckily however, the watchmen gave us a return shot a couple of turns later. It's funny how often the desparate 1d pows succeed. With that we got the ball away in typical elven fashion and managed to stay in the game.

Second half the Seekers came out firing, knocking off the Spectre and another, bringing numbers level. Except they blew their chance and played like noobies when it came time to steal the ball and ultimately gifted the watchmen with the leveller.

Last kickoff, the watchmen drew themselves into the fray a bit and left a big gap down the sideline...

Dont worry shane, if the watchmen do go down, I think they'll cull into a really tight outfit for a second shot at conferences the season after. Dollar bill really needed to be kindly retired a while ago, and one especially ordinary blitzer should almost be enough. Leaves you with a team nicely rounded on numbers, some superstar skills and chance to score lots of cash and a few fan factor for building.

Twahnlows:

3 - #11 Bubastis mk2 - Play of the day. Just as the seekers looked to recover that ball, he barked at extrapolated eructation, causing more than a bit of fright which sent him face planting and off to the bins dreaming vividly about horrifying snake eyes.

2 - #3 Silk Spectre mk2 - popped the ball early first half, gave the watchmen a good chance.

1 -#1 Rorschach mk2 - nice handoff to the crowd to ensure the watchmen got their td.

#14 Moloch the Mystic mk2 – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#14 Moloch the Mystic mk2 – Broken Neck (-AG)
No amount of planning allowed the Watchmen to stop the Seekers. We held them tightly for the first half, but after the break they pretty much controlled the game. Again I made some poor choices at critical moments and my skilled opponent made me pay!

Well played OG

3 Votes - #5 Irradiated Universe - was unstoppable for most of the game despite my best efforts.

2 Votes - #15 Torn Continuum - tore apart the Watchmen at ever block, was a constant and consistant problem.

1 Vote - #14 Netherborn's Flight - held the ball safe regardless of what i threw at him.
