After some heavy losses late last season, we are still looking to build a good balanced team. This game was to be a start, some nice juicy av7 to feast upon, it wasn't to be.

The first half was dogged with impotence and the DRW crawled their way into the opponents half, ironically it wasn't till an error from us that things opened up and the dice fell our way, turn 4. From that point it was attrition till the score and the half.

The second half opened up evenly enough, then in turn 2 a decision was made that ultimately cost the game. With a DP in coverage he had the option to foul the ever threatening Vaniel Tanilev or offer coverage help on the opposite flank. Coverage was chosen and Tanilev proceeded to roll nothing but success and helped break down the center field to allow an outlet for the hard pressed attack.

After a lot of good dice the Stallions were able to jockey for position and ride out the game, with a resurgence of impotence the Khemri were unable to make inroads and went away disappointed. One that got away.

Twahnlows:
3: Vaniel Tabilev: second half heroics grasped the draw.
2: Boris Nuriev: cradled the ball to safety
1: Thorston Samelinov: Boot and Fist did the talking for him,

#13 Vladimir Scholski – Dead (RIP)
Not the best game to ever grace the premier.......On my part, I've not been playing as much as I used to and made 4 awful errors (my worst game with the stallions for a while), but managed to scrape a draw, this is how I saw it.

Lost the toss, and 2 ok handicaps put the DRW at an advantage. I managed to apply some early pressure, in which we both pushed as hard as we could, the foul rate early on was very high. I don't think going toe to toe here was a mistake, but my target on my 2nd foul was, I mistook the player.

As the half wore on my luck bombed and so did my defence. I didn't meet any of my planned objectives and the last 2 turns I crumbled giving Barre the walk in. On a positive note though, my AV held up extremely well, even though I let my star blitzer take a stupid ammount of hits.

2nd also started bad for me (dice wise) and another fairly unforgivable mistake things looked grim. However my positioning was pretty good, and khemri are pretty hard to keep in goodshape on D. It looks to me that my positioning cause the error in DRW defence being drawn towards the dummy, I managed to gain substantial ground with Boris and the ball.

After that the dice totally switched and I couldn't do a thing wrong. This meant I managed to stall until safe to score, securing the draw. The late death and lack of money hurt and added to the general sour taste.

I wish DRW all the best in the prem, I enjoyed the match even with the errors.

Twanwhatsits

3 points #14 Rotost the Infectious - kept the pressure on with the boot, good bet for the gold trophy.

2 points #8 Tinkershot Krotchet - kept his nose clean and never offered a hit, cooly got the TD.

1 point #2 Hellkeek the Vomitous - had a big 'hit me' sign above his head, and came out of it smelling of rosey vomit. Took a lot of hits and wasn't phased.
