“Wow what a game! I started with morleys keeping the tree benched and lost 3 guys from the ferocious orks 1st turn, then the ref sent my DP out on the first foul (stun). So things looked grim to say the least. I opted for an early fire ball and boy was it a lucky one. Several orks down and the thrower SIed with missed apo!
We managed to steal the ball and eventually got it and my remaining players down field but under heavy ork pressure esp since they retaliated with lightning bolting my catcher and the crowd tossed it deep into his half :s
Most of the game after that is cloudy remembered at best but the orks continued maiming and killing elves. I managed to surf his only tackler BH though! =)
Somehow I ended up with just 2 on field and an BOB carrying the ball. Luckyly for me its tried to hand off the ball into a cage and fumbled spilling the ball relatively free. I dodged a player down to the endzone and my last one dived for the ball and amazingly managed the long pass! \o/
I got up to 5 players defence and managed to 1D blitz down the BC making the orcs last turn TD unlikely. But it was the orks turn to be heroic and they managed to score despite quite a few rolls!
OT ftw!
We recieved and spread out sacrificing a WD to draw the orks to one side. Luckily the foul only stunned. We still lost players though and I finally had to risk a dodge 2x gfi h-o (3+) then pass to endzone with rr. The h-o failed and I was in trouble indeed. There was a brawl around the ball and somehow I managed to KO 2 BoBs while an ork blitzer missed several pickups (ouch!). I think I missed a few shots at getting it too.
I managed to dodge the WD free in the center of his half and reduced the orks TZ on ball to one. In dove the last elf and heroicly launched a long pass over the chocked orks heads safely into the hands of the WD!. He surrounded the WD and tried to get him with 3d but no POW! The WD leaped to victory! :D

All in all I started out feeling quite unlucky about 50% part into 2nd, but luck really was on my side on the 2 TDs! The casualties were quite nasty though losing both catchers and a couple of SIs, too JDs joy. I really enjoyed the mayhem though, fun game!
