“After a bloody round 1 match where they lost key players, the amazon had to put a ‘’B’’ team to play the Dwarf. The Dwarf tought it would be an easy one but this was their first mistake.

Amazon started with the ball in the first half. Everything was going well until they got badlucky - a easy hand-off was misplayed and the ball ended up in a crowd. After that, one Very Lucky Dwarf got the ball on a pickup ( he needed 10 to get it!) and went deep into the zon half. He still got blitzed by the amazing amazon defence. Amazon then got the ball back from the crowd and went on for the easy TD.

Second half, Dwarf starting with the ball. They quickly got lucky and sent 4 zon into the KO box in the first two turns. Amazon were left without the ball, and with only six girls remaining. The Dwarf were sure to score…that was their second mistake.

The six girls remaining on the field played perfect defense and the dwarf could not even come close to score. Eventually, the ball carrier got blitzed, lost the ball and the zon got the ball back and were going to score again. But i lost connection and when we reloaded things did not happen the same way. Another lucky thing for the dwarf. We should have reloaded but i decided to let it go like this. It should have been a 2-0 win for the zon, but 1-0 is still ok to get to the next round.

When asked how good the amazon defense was, the Dwarf coach would only growl something about them just being lucky. He could not digest the lost and admit that the dwarf simply got outplayed by a better team.

With this win, the amazon improves their record to 22-2-5 and their TD differencial is now 31 (49-18). This also extend their win streak to seven and this is their sixth consecutive shutout.
