My Hammy was looking to make a statement in this rematch of last seasons AFC Championship match. And they came out fists and boots ablazing. Suffering an early BH the Dorf Grins looked deep inside and decided they were going to rely on the spiked boot of Phoul Warfield to make the match come out in their favor this time. With a pair of casualties inflicted in the regular fashion and Phoul removing 4 Goats Gruff before being sent off, the Dorfs had the 1st half well in hand and saw the goats dodging and running for their lives.
My Hammy 1 - 0 Buffalo at the half
Buffalo made every attempt to make their 6 remaining players play to their fullest potential, but My Hammy was just swarming around them, intent on crippling their divisional rivals. Buffalo was able to break a goat free, but he was tied up at the 10 yard line and tripped going for the score to tie the match. My Hammy continued to deliver the punishment until the final whistle blew, then went off to drink a few kegs.
My Hammy 1 - 0 Buffalo
My Hammy starts the season at 1-0 facing NY Gangrene next week
Buffalo starts the season at 0-1 facing New Scotland in week 2.
Well played Jeffro, I always enjoy our matches against you, glad to finally have beaten the Goats, ill catch you in the AFC division season for another rematch.”
“Them dorfs came into this season ready to play!... our hats are off to 'em!
(well... we're eating our hats...)
The Billy Goats came out all preened like Rocky Balboa in the third installment of that series. While they were lavishing the lovely lifestyle of three pro-bowlers, being Superbowl winners, having fancy fences to rub against, all the cans they could chew... the Dorf Grins were training mean, like Clubber Lang.
Dorfs came out and punched the goats right in their faces... Phoul Warfield showing why he was the Pro-Bowl MVP right off by sending Bruce Smith off the pitch without a stat line. And it was downhill from there...
Like Rocky, the Billy Goats played gruff and took a HUGE beating to have a chance to tie in the end of the 2nd half, but it was too little too late. They kept fighting, but the champs went down. Kawika got his neck broke by Phoul and plans to return the favor later in the season...
Bright side for the Billy Goats!... they earned enough to hire Jairus Byrd, star rookie Chaos Warrior to add to their already oversized defensive line. The season is a long one! GO BILLY GOATS!!! BAAaaaah!!!.....”
