“Blitz on the opening kickoff, which got me the ball (briefly) and a knocked-down girl. My opponent blitzed the ball out, and reversed fields. I gave chase, eventually drawing a missed pass to a deep linewoman. Picked up next turn, but couldn't get my catcher to, you know... catch it. Following turn saw my mini-cage around the ball get blitzed, and the ball bounce free to allow the game's third pass, this one good for a score.

Weather got cold on the ensuing kickoff, and, well, I pretty much just took blocks, many resulting in pows. I managed to whittle down his team, despite not making much progress with the ball.

2nd half I took the kick and caged up, letting my mino and blitzers tie up his depleted forces. Getting the ref sure didn't hurt, and neither did my propensity for rolling pows. I eventually ground down enough girls to walk in the tying score on t16.

notes: As mentioned, I sure rolled a lot of pows. Most notably the dice-against frenzy double pow. The mino took 18 blocks, never once failing his WA test, and only once knocking himself over. My catcher was permed on a surf.”
