This was "perfect blood bowl weather" only if you were a fish. It poured nearly constantly, from opening kickoff to the end, except for a brief respite just long enough for some rats to score a TD. The rain hurt the DE on a couple occasions, with them failing a few attempts to pick up the ball, and one attempt at passing. Had the Zeus kicker been more proficient (2 touchbacks in the game) I don't think I'd have won.

The latter part of the second half was a massive scrum for the ball, with 2 agile teams packing around the ball and preventing the other side picking up the wet bugger. On my T16 (playing last), I managed my second cas and a scoop (2+ with a ball clear of TZs finally and an AG5 blitzer) and handoff to seal the victory.

Fair cash, enough to buy a 4th blitzer and +FF were a nice reward for a hotly contested win.

Best of all (from my side) though, Margulis Greysoul, already gifted with +AG, rolled 6+6 after the being named MVP (a well-deserved honor for the final retrieval for the win) and he took his +ST like a good (evil?) little elf.
