Early on he kept his thrower back while the catchers ran forward. I took him off guard and ravaged the thrower for a 2nd turn TD. After that his thrower was always hiding at the very back of his zone, totally unreachable :p
He made an big elf cage (!) but he failed an early block, leaving his thrower open. I jumped on him, but failed a few easy rolls and he managed to take back the ball and launch a pass to score on the last turn behore half-time.
After I got the ball, I protected it somewhat on one side, and he was unable to prevent me from going through so I scored. After the kick, he failed a 2+ dodge before getting the ball, opening the path to the ball. So I managed to pick it up under his nose and flee in his end zone before he knew what happened.
In the end, he had little time left and I pressed hard on his catchers, including a KO on a Catcher. He couldn't pass to score until the very last turn, and even then he needed a bit of luck on that last pass. But too late, I was still in the lead by 1.”
