“Well folks, from the beginning this looked like a good matchup. The Otherly Energized had been hitting the juice... er.. power cables all morning, and they looked ready to go. The Norse de Lessines, on the other hand, look ready all the time, and there's nothing like watching those Northerners lay down a hit.

And what a smackdown they delivered! Professor Ohm lost a leg early in the game from a nasty hit, and while we think he'll be okay, he spent the rest of the game trying to reattach it. Even though he sat out, the Energized werewolf, Dr. Peachfuzz, used his legendary speed to give his team an early lead.

The second half started rough for the Norse, and it looked like Dr. Peachfuzz was going to make another run for the goal line. But in a terrible turn of events he was killed on the field by a Blitzer's blow! Once again the famed recovery powers of the Necromantic team failed, and he died for good.

That was the beginning of the end for the Otherly Energized. The death of Dr. Peachfuzz seemed to take all the fight out of them, and the Norse de Lessines laid about them with a vengeance, knocking out or injuring half the zombies they faced.

In the end it almost looked like the Energized would hold it to a tie, but Proctor Lefty pushed him... er... itself just a little too hard and fell apart just before laying down the hit that could have kept the game tied.

In the end the dead were left to mourn their lost Doctor, and the Norse came away with a lucky victory. We'll miss the deep, rumbling growl of Dr. Peachfuzz and wish his team better luck next game.
