“Tough game vs stats increase packed chaos!
We won the coin toss and chose to receive, proceedeing quickly for a 2-turn TD. While chaos had plenty of time for an equalizing TD, they somehow managed to leave a skill-less ballcarrier withing 2D blitz range and we were able to score again on turn 5. Leading 2-0 and getting a Blitz! as a kick-off result, almost saw us scoring 3rd TD in the first half, but we missed a short pass. Luckily for darkies first half didnt bring any injuries and we were off to defend in the 2nd half in full forces.
Darkies started their defence with their standard "attack and create havoc" strategy. However we weren't lucky enough to get a good bounce and the ball stayed covered all the time until chaos were pretty deep on our side and failed a handoff. One brave blitzer picked the ball from 2 tackle zones and was going to long pass it, but.. the ball was intercepted! Chaos then went for a quick TD leaving them enough time to get the 2nd TD required for the draw. And they also got Blitz! making it quite desperate for us to defend. Well, with no rerolls left and chaos rolling only skulls and skull/pows on the Witch Elf protecting the ball they didnt get a good chance to score, eventhough a beastman picked the ball from tackle zone, but didnt make the dodge dropping the ball back were it was. Witch Elf then made a 3+ dodge and 3+ pickup to run the ball to a blitzer, who ran away for a 3-1 victory.
Post game rolls were yummy, got +ag and +st for the blitzers.
