“Oh my goodness. The Problem Solvers entered this match with a little trepidation, as it was to be a recovery match, but needn't have worried.
Three quick SI's early in the first half set the stage for a grinding play during which the humans slowly worked their way down the pitch. At one point Holb stole the ball and dashed away, attempting to fling it back up the pitch to an eagerly-waiting Francesca, but his enthusiasm got the better of him - the ball flopped flaccidly at his feet, only to be repossessed by the outnumbering humans.
The second half began promisingly for the U-Turners, making their way up the pitch into heavy traffic. The ball changed hands repeatedly, with many fumbles by the hobgobs and several improbable pick-ups in tackle zones for the humans. Eventually it was discovered in the Chaos Dwarf end-zone, in the company of a Problem (Solver).
At the death of the game, hobgobs ran around the backfield struggling hopelessly to pick up the ball - despite many attempts, they had only done this twice in the match so far. A human blitzer seized it and tried to dodge away, stumbling once, twice... before grabbing it again, dodging, gfi, gfi... T16 TD denied by the previous patron of the Problem Solvers (for this game, anyway), Nuffle.
Thanks for the game, Bestia, and look forward to seeing you on the pitch again.”
