“"Its that time again, sportsfans! Time for another peerless review of bloodbowl excellence, by yours truly, Coach Luo!
Well, the Lizzies went into this one bouyed up by their win over those furry mongrels of eganra's, and reasonably confident they could take on the big boys.. And boy, these ones were big!
Coach lolvenoms lads were looking grizzled, mean, and ready to play bloodbowl. They even looked like they knew how to play! Still, it would take more than looks to beat the Lizzies in this mood, and the opening stanzas of the 1st half was all about the Lizzies setting the speed. A good couple of knocks gave first blood to our boys, and despite the ogres trying to shutdown the advance, young tom'Atl scampered away, eyes fixed on the endzone.
The ogres showed their style, breaking away for a sickening blitz on the rookie skink. A couple of gobbos later, and the ball was in Krumpin hands, and heading the other way!
But alas! An unruly fan threw a bottle of bloodweiser onto the pitch, causing a moments consternation in a few of the ogre players, giving the Lizzies all the chance they needed to make a solid defensive blitz, shutting down the gobbo advance. A failed ogre block, and a dead gobbo to the tally, and newcomber B-Limi scuttled over the line..."

"Round 2, and the ogres setup, looking to equalise. With only 1 goblin taking the field, it seemed a tough ask. Sure enough, the Lizzies took advantage of a great kick and a crucial fumble to pounce on the ball! Again, the Ogres showed their skill, using their strength to physically push their blockers away, and get the ball to safety.
But then, disaster! The lone gobbo ballcarrier was nearly killed in a freak teammate-throwing incident, and only the intervention of an apothecary kept him on the pitch..."

"Once again, our nifty skinks were there to take advantage, scopping up the ball and running from one side of the pitch to the other to avoid grasping ogrish hands. This time, tom`Atl finally got his chance to post a point on the board.
With time running out, the Krumpin' lads setup for a desperate ploy.. The fans watched avidly, as the ogre blockers did their job, creating space for Thumpin', who flexed his throwin' arm, for a change... Spleen scooped the ball.. Handoff to Concussed... Thumpin' hoists the gobbo, leans back, and hurls him skyward!! The gobbo, legs flailing, clutching the ball, squints at the ground, only to see the keen-eyed gaze of two skinks... Concussed lands squarely between them, gives a saucy wink, and deftly dances between their inexpert tackles... straight into the endzone! "

"Shaken by the ogres display of derring-do, the Lizzies setup for a last offensive. With two turns left to play, it was down to the skinks of the team to come up with a play. Settling for practicallity over flair, the Lizzies showed the lessons learned in their disastrous season in the Conferences. Our boys might not be able to fly through the sky and score in one turn, but the skinks can certainly run it in two, and with barely a hitch, and practiced ability, our boys did exactly that! The final score 3-1, and another round closer to getting back up into the confs..."
