“My internet hiccuped at the beginning of my 2nd turn, so you're missing the first turn. Basically there was much scuffling at the line, I gave the ball to a skink near the top and went alone deep into his zone, where he needed many GFIs to reach me and get the ball. But he decided to blitz with a mummy near the line instead, so in my 2nd turn I just had to dodge to score. 1-0 for me, but already I was missing a player or 2 and he had 7 turns to score in this half.

He got the ball with his Throw-Ra and hid it in a cage while he advanced through my lizards. I quickly failed a dodge on my turn which gave him a great opportunity to move the cage in a much better position, on my left flank. I managed to get a skink in, but he pushed it aside and consolidated his position. Then I moved 2 skinks in, but in a great play he killed the first and pushed the second, which let him move forward much. He was in scoring position (with GFI) and sudently kicked a couple lizzys out of the field. However, the knocked saurus near the ball blitzed the thrower and made the ball fumble. Before trying to get it he got both-down, so he came 1 turn late for the TD.

Now his half. Full 8 turns, I had 9 players left. He set himself on 1 side, it got Bad Kicked exactly between his mummys at the line, but I got to rearrange my team to cover for it. I had no choice but to get the ball down ASAP, so I succeeded a very daring play and my saurus between mummys caught the fumbled ball on a 9 (!). He was unable to get the ball, and didnt see I had a saurus standing so his mummy failed a dodge early in his turn. I took that unexpected opportunity to get the ball with a skink and hide it best I could. He SId himself knocking off my skink, so I took the ball with another and fled with it. There was no catching me.

Interesting moment, in his last turn. He had tons of blocks at my skilless skinks. He only managed to knock 1 down.

So after 3 tough but very entertaining matches, I'm now 3-0 in the mini-league, even though I just managed my first CAS (with a skink!)
