And in the after-match report, the game started with the visiting Skaven winning the toss, and doing what Skaven do best: scoring quickly! Sterling put in a... well, sterling performance, his feet never failing even as a horde of undead chased him toward the end zone early in the first half.

The rest of the first half was LTD's usual mish-mosh of pounding the opposition while being unable to handle the ball. They knocked out a bunch of rats but never quite managed a touchdown! In the mad scramble, Awareness looked away for a moment and was brutally torn apart by a heavy Skaven hit. Even his regenerative powers couldn't save him from that blow!

The second half was little different, and had the Skaven apothecary not rushed onto the field in the nick of time the Mummies would have replaced their fallen player. As regulation time wound down your Love connection finally managed to score, sending the game into overtime.

The AMKG were fortunate enough to receive the ball in OT, but they had so few players on the pitch there was little they could do. The inherent strength of Unbridled Passion and Unbroken Promises sent even more Skaven into the injury boxes, and near the end of OT the LTD had the ball and there was only one rat left on the field. The Loving Dead managed their second TD after a bit of their usual fumbling about, and a deep kick meant it was all over but the shoving. The final whistle blew with Love Trancends Death winning 2-1.
