“Really nice match against a friendly opponent. The match started off with the Disciples coach shouting unclear orders. Instead of kicking the dwarves started receiving but failed to get anything done properly and even failed to get hold of the ball. The dwarves and goblins broke through on their right flank and pressured the ball. In the meantime the blocking game was going in favour of the far stronger Ogres.
Something had to change in order to get things back on track. Using their relative speed the hobgoblins and Bulls were able to secure the ball and run towards the endzone. In the meantime fouling off an Ogre so badly that the apo failed to heal the big bully...
Coach Krytie had some special tricks up his sleeve though. And while the dwarves thought themselves secured of the touchdown no one was watching the sky... Because at that very moment a goblin was sailing directly towards the unsuspecting ballcarrier. On impact the hobgoblin let go off the ball and hit the dirt with a big “oompf”. The clumsy attempts of the other hobgoblins to pick up the ball and run to the endzone were cut short by the half-time whistle.
Second half started with the Ogres slightly outnumbered and receiving. The start of the half however produced quite a few nasty gangfouls that left the Ogres even further outnumbered and meant an inevitable touchdown for the Dutch Disciples. The last kick was very shallow and this allowed the dwarves to try for a second touchdown. Too bad that Jan-Peter fell on his face into the endzone when he tripped over on his very last second of sprinting... The ball scattered and the ref blew his whistle for the end of the match.
Thanks for the match Krytie and good luck in the next! ”
