“At first it seemed I was doing pretty well, breaking his cage, getting the ball on the ground and KOing 2 players, including the blodger. And after he made a pass in my zone, the ball bounced back in the very middle of the field. But then I got nuffled pretty hard. It took me many attempts at getting the free ball, but I still managed to make a cage. But, completely unexpected, his blitzer actually dodges inside my cage, KOs my ball-carrier skink and leaves the cage with the ball, all in 1 action and no RR left. And I wasn't able to blitz him down, so after a few more dodges he managed a pass into the end zone for his first point. Wow.

With little time left I thought I'd have time for a score. But no. He got blitz and placed a few players deep. Then I failed some 2D blocks and I forgot to move my skinks to cover for that. So he managed a pick up and 2 GFIs for another point. D'oh.

The 2nd half started much btter for me, getting 3 pows in a row against the liners ad getting the cage deep in his zone. He went for the same unbelievable KO-the-ball-in-the-cage plan, but this time he failed the dodge and he ended up in the KO box. I created an opening and scored.

So I had to score with about 5 turns left and he had the ball. He made a cage near the line. I attempting going through the LoS guys to surround the cage, but instead my last block failed which created a giant opening in the center. I had a chance to cover for it, but did an awful misclick (moved in the cage with a saurus instead of doing end-move beside it) which now created a giant opening. So he blitzed my only skink in the way and passed deep in my zone for a 3rd TD, sealing the game (doing a niggle on apo-failed skink in the process).

So I had bad luck and he managed to use this perfectly, and in the end he prevented me from doing a comeback.”
