Riots erupted in the streets of Nuln today after allegations that Karl Petersen, a young and up-and-coming player for the local Anvils was foully raised from the dead during a match against Jim Knopf's travelling undead. If you'll just excuse me a moment, I think I see the man himself emerging from the stadium - and his customary silver uniform has been quickly painted over - it looks like he's going to join Jim's wagon train as it leaves the area.

Excuse me - excuse me! Karl - Karl - it's Bob Bobson here from Nuln News. Do you have anything to say about your apparent switch of allegiance today?

Well, sportsfans, I think that says it all. In honour of the dead, all I'll say of the match was that a tight draw was eked out by the Anvils, as they just managed to prevent the undead from crossing the line as the final whistle went. But the pounding they took, and the losses the took, will surely go with them, and give the ever more reason to fight on for the glory of our great city.

Woo-hoo! A draw!

Yeah... it comes to something when you're please with a draw, isn't it? But hey - I got away lightly. Luck was largely on my side in terms of the minor injuries, but the Anvils lost another two players. If you count the retirees, I think that makes 6 down in three matches, which is pretty painful. But they'll come back - bigger, faster and stronger! (If only to try and be a useful nemesis for Jim Knopf and his buddies :-P)
