#15 Longlegged Larry – Broken Ribs (MNG) #15 Longlegged Larry – Smashed Knee (NI)
“Finally I made it. My first stunty victory ever!!!
The game actually started out with me fielding a treeman :)
After my drive got halted and caged by woodies, I managed to get Grandfather Proudfoot himself to move his old legs and get behind Patience. After some pushing, Patience lined up (with two elves surrounding him), and voila Grandfather moved like he'd never moved before in his long life.
At first my opponent commented on my good scatter, until we both noticed, that the pass was indeed accurate!!! He couldn't reach the endzone, because Grandpa had moved already, but I tried to protect him with some dodges. Failed miserably, and now a Bitch Elf with knuckle dustters was racing my direction! She blitzed me, but finally managed to get pow/skull.
My turn, and good old grandpa hold his act together!!! Now he had to get up, get the ball and GFI. After having used a reroll getting the ball, we both held out breath as he moved the last square and made the TD!
The elves quicksnapped an easy equalizer, and my GFI'ing only gave me a niggling injury and used a reroll!!
The second half mainly got determined by the elves lack of numbers. I managed to beat them down, and after a slow advance supported by the trees, I broke free and ran the ball home.
I couldn't stop his next drive either, but managed to get the bitch Elf down. After a short booting the Elf went out! The ref however thought that Little Proudfoot did something he wasn't supposed to do, and banished him! So what :)
Last he had 6-7 man left, and I managed to cage the ballcarrier after a failed pickup, and after a short fight getting the ball out of the cage and delivered to a fling!
Gotta give my opponent, that my block was really "good", but I hope he agrees that it was an intense and challenging game for both of us.
I'll rematch you anytime :)”
