Our Khemri are up against their worst nightmare- skaven! They have 4 gutter runners including a very nice +STR/horns one, plus have bought a wizard. This looks almost impossible for us unless we can get some early casualties.

Their niggler (DP) can play so it's 12 vs 12 and we choose to kick for the first half.

They break through our line with a blitz from their horned GR, then pour a couple rats through with a blodge blitzer holding the ball. We make space for our tackler to mark him, but slip up on the GFI needed to reach him! They take advantage to make it 1-0 on their second turn.. that was quick!

We restart quite well, badly hurting a rookie linerat on the LOS as we collect the kick with our +AGI thro-ra. We then push forwards extremely slowly and extremely carefully, keeping a loose cage to make the wizard not quite as devastating when it comes out. We badly hurt a 2nd linerat, KO a GR and then on turn 6 KILL a blodge GR- using up their apo to save him.

They get a great blitz with their prone +STR GR on turn 7, needing only two 2+ dodges to get through what looked like (well... to this coach at least) a maze of tackle zones- but his 2d blitz is double pushback rerolled into double skulls! We take advantage to make the ball pretty secure by their endzone - even more so when they try a 1d blitz with the same GR for a skull and a KO! We make it 1-1 on the final turn.

The second half looks dangerous for the rats as 3/3 in the KO box fail to wake up so they have just 7 vs our 12, though still have the wizard.

They set up poorly- forgetting our frenzy mummy and we're able to immediately blitz a blodge GR into the crowd (stun). We have only moved the ball midway to the half way line so the rats unleash the wizard on turn 2- needing a touchdown before things get out of hand. It works- KO'ing our thro-ra with the ball! They then dodge their lone GR into our endzone (using a reroll to get out of past a tackler), then dodge a prone line rat to grab the ball but luckily he fumbles the pickup! We immediately blitz their last GR into the crowd and secure the ball.

There are now just 3 rats left on the pitch to slow us down. They keep dodging backwards, hoping for a way to get a blitz in on the ball carrier, but just can't get their break vs a 10 player scrum of khemri and we score on turn 15 to take the lead.
