“This game didn't look great early on. The rats, with their ST3 Horned, Tackle Gutter, looked like a potential skink-wrecking machine, running amok. Then after a mid-half score, things swung my way...

The kickoff was a touchback, and unlike many weaklings out there, I gave it to my big guy ;) Then my first blitz took down the monster gutter and I fouled a KO on it, losing my DP in the process but it was well worth the trade. The krox rumbled down the pitch, sauruses blazing a path through the depleted rat defenses. The final touch was with the krox parked at the goal line, needing only a non-bonehead and to be rid of a sidestepping gutter, the rats tried a -2db on him. The resulting Push forced the Great Silver Wyrm into the end zone for the kroxiscore. :)

The second half was my turn receiving, and the rats were in rough shape. The monster gutter stayed KOed, and they were down to a handful of players. The lizards made a slow, methodical push up the pitch and held the ball to the end. Scoring in T16 and so few rats left seemed a safe win.

..but wait, there's more!

Injury Time!

The rats got a second lease on life, and took a long pass up the side of the pitch. Having set up to defend the LOS against chain pushes, I was nearly walled off by linerats. But the skinks circled around back and Red Dragon broke a tackle to get to the gutter with his Tackle and scored the knockdown. Brass Wyrmling secured the ball and the win immediately thereafter.
