The Khemri were strong, and their blitzers surprisingly quick. Even Tony Abbott had some toe about him. Things looked bad early when the inevitable CAS came, Fielding showing the Mummies how it is done. Gillard made hard work of it and almost lost her chance but Dragon's bonehead gave her another chance and she took it well.

receiving 0-1 down and the Reptiles caged up pretty well to give Anomalopus (the only remaining skink) a good run down the flank. Unfortunately he was halted within scoring range and the half time whistle blew.

The second half was a grind. The Reptiles tried to use their pace and some good CAS helped. Julie Bishop regenerated from death. Again Anomalopous got within range, this time sweeping to the opposite flank, but a 2 GFI blitz by a skeleton (Xenephon?) ended his dreams of glory with a KO. The Pollies had time to get it to Garrett who was escorted in for a delayed TD in the final turn.

Good win by Patrician and the Reptiles fans left happy, having heard the snap of broken bones.
