“His first match. He hasn't played Tabletop yet, so he needs brushing up on the basics such as making the good blocks and dodges. Especially moving dice-free players first ;) And also, him having 2 throwers and 0 rerolls wasn't ideal.

So of course at the beginning of the game he made a lot of mistakes that are normal for a brand new player. This gave me a good opening for my runner and I ended up scoring.

Then after I kicked, I got lucky and got a Blitz result, so I moved in his zone. Not really knowing the best plays, he made a great Gutter Runner protection deep in his zone. At least that prevented me from scoring.

So second half, I kick and he sends a gutter runner in my zone, on the sideline. I showed him why that's not a great idea by sending him to his bench. He gets unlucky and fumbles a pass that would have got him deep in my zone. And after the ball bounces elsewhere in his zone, his gutter fails the easy pick-up. He made a dodge mistake on his turn, leaving me with a clear path to a touchdown.

I kick again, he has a good chance of passing deep in my zone, but he fails a block with his stormvermin and then misses another pass. Tough luck. On his last turn he finally manages to get the ball to the gutter in my zone, but he misses the only GFI required to score.

However, he did make his first kill! At the beginning of the second half, Gantz the stormvermin destroyed Speedy Ratzalez, but my team's doctor put him back together.”
