“So I got the kick and quickly set up my GR in his zone with some protection. He made a huge wall to block my path, so I moved to the other side.
1st lesson : yes putting a player every square is tougher to pass, but it takes a lot of players in a small area.
Then he makes a "wall" to prevent me from scoring. But my GR is so fast, I just need to push aside the last one and I'll have enough movement to go around it and score. Which I did.
2nd lesson : count your opponent's movement if you're not sure how far he can reach.
3rd lesson : the opponent can decide to go around you instead of through you.
After my kick, he made a cage around his catcher at the LOS. He knocked down all players but 1 in the middle, but that 1 player made him fail an easy dodge and drop the ball. I took it with a GR and tried quick-passing to my other GR but fumbled it. His thrower took it and I failed a 2Dblock, leaving his thrower a clear path to my end zone. I barely catch up to him and send him to the KO box before the half ends.
So I kick and his blitzer gets the ball, tries sending it to the thrower and fails. I push most of his line away and send a GR deep in case of an opportunity. And it comes : his thrower misses an easy pass to the catcher.
4th lesson : be prepared for anything to fail
So I sent my GR in his end zone, blitzed his catcher away, and my second GR picked the ball and passed it for a touchdown. After the kick a bunch of players get stunned, so he sends his liner to pick the ball and... throw it at LOS.
5th lesson : liners aren't great at passing, and long passes are particularly tough. And don't forget to move dice-free players first.
So I pick the ball where it landed at LOS, pass it to my GR on the other side and go in his zone with my thrower as protection (!). He tries making a wall to block my path, but I blitz off the liner at the end and move my GR by the sideline, making it 3-0.
Then he makes a huge line at LOS but his catcher fails at picking up the ball
6th lesson : don't mix catcher and thrower. After some very unlucky rolls on each side, trying to get the ball, a GR ends up picking it up and going straight for a 4th TD.
