“A very disappointing return to the pitch for the DRW. Doing half the job of removing the opposing player, we failed to back it up and seal the game.

The first opening kick off went to the Chaos team and they made some inroads, removing the LOS from play. After some to and fro we made the mistake of leaving the middle open and Mort completed a pass up the guts to waltz in for the early score, leaving enough time for reply.

The reply was loud and first, removing some more players from the LOS, but it turned to a whimper when an unlikely blitz on the open blitzra only just failed to bring him down. It did leave a heart in mouth situation, which fell our way and after a pushback on the blitz the Fadereek went in to tie it at 1-1 for the half. A good position.

With Mort down to 8 players and a wiz in the second half things were looking in control. After working on attrition a KO and some hits later we were just looking down field when the Fireball went off. The cage was gone, but the ball was still at hand, then a blitz dropped it. Mort were unable to back it up though and it was recovered. Then, major bonehead #1, moving forward a small opening was left open for OB's Chaos to bring the ball down again, and it did, with a kill to boot, tf for regen.

it's now 6 vs 7 and things are not all over. Bonehead #2, the killer blitzer was in turn blitzed off the ball by Sculptake, who proceeded to push him into a lovely position for him to make use of his guard and tie up 3 of our players, *forehead slap*. Followed by bonehead #3, instead of picking up the ball with Ramtut, Helkin Tumour was chosen, which, whilst not losing the ball, meant we could not force it into the end zone.

Some late game heroics by the Ogre Donald Hibberd destroyed any chance of the go ahead score, and 1-1 it remained.
