“A rather strange game. Due to virus and a mng we started with only 9, so for much of the game it wasnt the sort of straightforward thumpfest that is normally expected from dwarves v amazons. Still, our defence was reasonably good and we could 2db blitz the ball carrier, but failed to take him down. The amazons were forced to try and score, but failed the final gfi, so we could recover the ball. A couple of dodges later the amazons managed a 1db on the runner, ko'd him and secured the ball for an easy T8 td. 2nd half we started with 8 players, but some lucky early dice meant that before long we gained a numerical advantage and despite some scares (including a fireball failing to knock over any of 4 dwarves) could control the ball and score in T8.”
