On the next kickoff, attrition finally started to take its toll. The Gang managed to lay hands on the ball, but the increasingly undermanned Rabies squad managed to contest the ball well enough to keep the dead out of the endzone until the very end of the game, ensuring the rat squad win.

New passer Cannon got blasted into the stands, but neither the Rabies' medical staff or the Gang's "medical" staff could get to him before the crowd turned him into Rat McNuggets.”
