“The pouring rain turned this match into a real mud wrestling match. Both the Skirmishers and the CCC struggled on the pitch during the first half, with awful blocks, bad pick-ups and a general stand-still. Eventually Gloinus could break off and score in T8, followed by a disastrous block from the ST 4 zombie gyvenimas grazus!, who threw himself at the mighty troll Ghazra and was torn to pieces in the process. (double skull RIP block).

In the 2nd half the Skirmishers got their act together and started landing blocks. The legend Shalkoran the Fourth was BH'd early and with him off the pitch the undead seemed to lose their motivation. Foibur, who punched him out, also managed to bring down the ball carrier so that Shoggoth could recover the ball and score 2-0.

The Skirmishers we semi-close to making 3-0, but Cloverfield threw all they had on tying up the offensive Skirmishers until the match clock rang.

Thanks for the match, FatEddie. Nuffle really pulled a number on you there. Not as much as a KO during the whole match, hardly even a stun as far as I can remember. You kept your spirit up though and you should get praise for that. Hope to play you again some time!”
