It started off bad for him when his (first) foul was spotted by the ref for a measly stun on a CD blocker.
I blitzed his scariest Gutter first; horns and ST3. Down-> BH.

Solid start. (yeah; lots of understatement in here)

I could not prevent another gutter scoring though.
I receive vs 10 rats and a bad kick makes my life so much easier; ball to 15 spp Cow.
During my slow drive (more like stomping my way downfield) I applied some nasty hobgoblin boot to his 'mere' blodge gutter; -> SI (no perm so no apoth)

Easy 1-1 with me receiving 2nd half.

He was once again shafted by dice and both his KO's did not return, leaving him a mere 8 to field vs a full CD team.

Then a blitz as a kickoff event.

My heart stopped but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

For he rushed forward with his team including his last gutter.
This allowed me to blitz him and apply the boot once again; -> BH.

Note that I had no bad luck that turn or I would have been in the deepest trouble imaginable.

As it was I could not only get rid of his last gutter but also get the ball safe.
Second cow scored in my 3rd turn in 2nd half.

By that time all his Gutters were injured, a linerat was dead and 3 more linerats were KO leaving him very little chance to even the score.

And me very good odds at a third td of course.
Perfect defense made his miserable life unbearable.

Only superb dice would have saved him. (perhaps)

But Nuffle did not want any of that. 3-1 to my advantage.
