“Sloppy day in Oakland as the rain just accentuated the Billy Goats horrible ball handling skills and their general odor. The outnumbered Darkie Raiders, though, were quickly sent to the reserves and those remaining on the pitch were either on their heels or their toes the entire game.
First drive was the kind of long plodding march one would expect from the heavy hooved goats. The only drama was the scrum of five goats all fumbling with the ball in the Raiders endzone. Confusion was cleared up by Oakland sending some goats into the crowd and the smell of gyros put the others on alert and they were able to score.
The darkies then took the kick off in the 2nd half and the goats - excited by the skills their new kicker, Fred, had been displaying in practice - couldn't contain themselves and blitzed... maybe a little too early, as the darkies scooped up the ball and quickly ran towards the Buffalo endzone. They tried to take up as much time as they could on the stall, but the goat herd quickly reformed and charged towards them... Richard Seymour made a wise choice to just hop into the endzone.
Goats took the next kickoff and had to put some giddyup in their gallop to score in time. Kelly Gun made the goats work for it by smacking rookie, Jairus Byrd in his gut and making him drop the ball, but he was able to stand up and pick it up amid the rain and mud and hand it to Bryce Paup for the winning score as time expired.
Good game, ex-con... you never gave up and came out of it way better than it could've been as far as hospital costs - even made decent money. Good luck with the rest of the conference!”
