#10 Chief – Broken Ribs (MNG)
“Sometimes one sits around and does nothing for awhile. Usually I'd rather do something with my time and often that involves gaming of some kind.
But this game was such a waste of time it made me want to slit my wrists.
That's an hour and 5 minutes I'll never get back.
treborius is a nice enough coach so it's not his fault.
But this whole game was decided by 2 dice rolls that couldn't be influenced by any playing skill whatsoever. The kickoff at half time and where the ball landed at same kickoff. The game was pretty much in the pocket with 1-1 and my receive. Until a blitz with the ball landing right at the middle line. Even getting a recover and punting it to his half couldn't stop him once the casualties which hadn't occured in the first half at all came in on just one turn.
I guess it's back to the drawing board since I can never again get myself to look at a team as pathetic as this.
Team retired! Now I'll just bash like everyone else seems to.”

you're right, that the kick-off decided the game after you were on the receiving side and after 1-1 at half-time.
another thing is, though, that you set up extremly one-sided at kick off when you were even in players and were facing my team with 3 goblins, which are pretty dodgy, when it comes to sneaking across the oppo's lines.
your setup was so one-sided, that there was no player at the bottom 5 rows of the field - always keep in mind, that ttm and sneaky gobbos can get everywhere (with a bit of luck, anyways ;-)
having said that, i don't feel it's time to retire your team - it's great, you're a good coach, it just lacks 1 or 2 catchers and at least a tackler + maybe mb and guard on a blitzer, but it was their first match w/o any perm. cas. - just 1 mng - no need to retire it - you will have many worse games in the Box even with bashy teams!
and i don't even consider this team a bashy one - otherwise i wouldn't field 3 gobbos and hired a 4th with a chainsaw (which didn't even get to use it once ;-)

Edit: just saw, that u already retired it - have a good night's sleep over that and maybe ask an admin to redo that - it's so sad to just let go of a team that's not even suffered a perm. and is perfectly well otherwise :-(”
