#10 Type AB – Smashed Knee (NI) #11 Chowtime – Smashed Knee (NI)
“Wow, what a game.
On a positive note, my vamps didn't hurt any of my thralls, which is unusual. Despite their being HELLA thirsty (Count DeMoney failed FOUR of his first FIVE ofab rolls!) On the other hand, the Bears did plenty well at hurting my players.
The opening-drive score was all the Suckers could manage, as after that they were down numerous players the rest of the match.
Despite that, they almost pulled out a win when Count DeMoney (thats De-MO-nay!) 1d blitzed the ball loose from a rookie beastman, scooped it up and ran downfield. Unfortunately his decision to try for an extra square cost him (his rr was used on a failed ofab I think) and he tripped up AND stunned himself. Even then a chance for the tie was there, DeMoney just needed a couple of 3+ rolls to scoop up the ball and punt...but no. Back to the turf he went.
EVEN THEN the Suckers might've gotten a tie if only, if only the Bears could fail a pick up or a hand off. But no, their luck was nigh spotless, moving the ball at will, hurting thralls left and right.
A sorry day for Suckers fans as Nuffle decided their luck was due for some equalizing. With Impaladan's Rotter team next up the Suckers look to be on the downslide, with their playoff hopes rapidly diminishing.”
