“WELL HERE IS THE BIGGEST OBBA CUP UPSET EVER
The second highest rated team in terms of TR in the OBBA were facing a Fulham Fleet side down on their luck after several player losses in recent games. Despite this the coc...err flag of Nuffle was standing proudly erect in the Fulham Dressing Room this famous evening, and all were about to be exposed to the marvel of this proud talisman's effects on a team.
To start with Fleet saw several handicaps Virus, Morley's, Bribe the Ref II, Knuckledusters and Duh Where Am I.
Along with sweltering heat these handicaps nullified any edge the B'Orca team had with squad size. Many drives the Spanish giants had 4 positionals missing causing real difficulties in getting their game going.
Fulham recieved and started trying to edge up into scoring range for their GR's but B'Orca were able to keep the Rats contained and even disposed of teh ball carrier but the Star Blitzer Gudjohnsen promptly fell on the GFI to secure the ball, allowing Fulham back in for the score.
From the restart B'Orca wanted the score before half time but struggled to ensure a good position on the LOS with the ball due to the paucity of their available players due to aforementioned handicaps and heat. Linos and a troll just do not cut it when trying to substitute for Guard or STR 4 Bobs and Blitzers :-)
Gudjohnsen though unfortunately got confused and positioned himself badly denying him a score just before the stroke of half time.
In the second half Fulham were kicking but managed to get a Blitz which pressurised the B'Orca backfield. B@orca looked to be rallying and had a decent chance of recovering the ball when AG4 Blitzer failed a 2+ dodge twice on his attempted Blitz to take down the threatening GR and recover the ball. This was doom and Fulham scored again 2-0
From teh restart again the B'Orca team looked weak and tehy struggled to knock any rats over, they score somewhat fortuitously after a double double fumbble trying to collect the ball, but eventually managed to get the ball upto MEssi to score a consolation TD to make it 2-1.
Fulham promptly scored from teh restart with B'Orca now struggling to get any defensive line up together that can trouble the fast GR's.
The fourth TD was basically a gimme as B'Orca no longer cared and wer just kicking ratty heads in to while away the minutes since trying to do more or less everything right was not sufficient in this game :P
Well played Duke and g luck next round.
In summary I was very disapointed with this game the first three TD's I felt there was next to nothing more I could have done to stop them. The fourth one was basically as I was not playing for the ball anymore by T16. The only real mistake I made was the positioning error that denied me my own score in T8, but I would still have been 3-1 down anyway as after half time my AG4 guys could not collect the ball at all which caused teh third score depsite the ball being in a cage of Orc players.

Fulham started quickly and went for an early score, but a double 1 GFI left the ball carrier open. The Orcs downed him, but he managed to get up and punt the ball deep ready to score (when pressured) 1-0 Fulham. The B'Rcalona tried to reply, but Fulham spotted their was only 1 player in scoring range and downed him, to end the half 1-0.
After the break a Blitz allowed Fulham to get quick pressure on the ball, the Orcs tried to recover, but a brave move by Geoff Horsefield brought the score to 2-0. The Orcs did manage to score on their next drive after a lucky interception taking the score to 2-1, but it was Fulham to receive.
With few Fulham players left B'Orcalona kicked off, Blitz!, but their deep setup didn't allow them to take advantage and Fulham broke through their lines taking the score to 3-1. B'Orcalona took their rage out on Fulham's players, whilst the rookie Horsefield broke through to score again for 4-1.
1 Dead and 2 missing the next game, but Fulham are through. Chris Coleman continues to defy the odds by playing on despite 5 injuries, but at least Chris Smalling had made the step up from the Academy ready for the next round.”
