Opportunities for both teams came and went with missed hand offs pickups and lucky/unlucky scatters.
But in the end the luck flowed my way. I escaped any serious damage from blocking, despite losing a tackle/guard fairly early, and by the second half cas were defintely flowing my way.

Although I received the initial kick off, Olgot got a blitz and that pretty much killed the drive. With his superior strength, guard, and fighting skills, blitz gave him the opportunity to hem me in. I spent the whole first half trying to scrum the ball clear, or trying to get the ball back. In the end he squeezed out a score.
The second half was a traditional bashy-team cage roll across the field. An incredibly lucky turn 3 allowed me to knock the ball loose, but I wasn't able to get it. After a readjustment, he scores again.
The loss of a skillless catcher is annoying, but ultimately not too harmful. It's a little bothersome to lose what should be a 1-1 tie to blitz, but that's bloodbowl.”
