“This game was won slightly below board. With something like 7 DPs between the two squads, the refs had all they could handle to keep track of it all. When the early goings of the fouling went my way, it was all downhill from there.
Key to the game:
Speed Kills was stalling at the goal line. I managed to clear a path for a 2-GFI block (2db) and a POW, not only knocking the ball loose but stunning the catcher. Some unlikely ball transferring and an AG2 dodge got me the late score.
Funny highlight:
After an heroic set of dodges though my defenses, the Platoon knocked loose the ball from Cheers for Injuries next to the sideline. The ball went into the stands and they threw it right to Picks In Ranked (a mummy with BT) who catches it!! A few turns later I go up 2-0 for the final score.
GG Calcium. Whoever took the early lead in the foul war was bound to win that one.
