A slightly underpowered DAMB! got a rough wake-up call in their first match of the new season. Not fully recovered from the severe damage their saurus line took last season in fringe, they were in trouble from the start, with 4 players hurt or koed within the first two turns.

Triscoria Max saved the first half by tieing it up at the end of the 1st quarter. The second half would start with only Max and 3 saurus (The Crushasaurus was out with heat exhaustion). Max picked up the ball in the endzone and managed to get the entire way down the field, bringing to the score to 2-1. The Rot plagued with some player losses of their own, still managed to score the point that tied the game.

Coach Ryce welcomed the tie, but the fans did not, and the gate was only 10K, which is 10K short of the money he needed to fill a saurus position. But at least it wasn't a loss!
