Hurray! We played 5 games so we'll get OCCS points. The money roll was excellent, so we can afford some replacements. And in spite of a total dicing by Nuffle, the rats held onto the tie and even had a chance to score in T8 of the 2nd half.

That's the good news. The bad news is that GR Edam Degu was killed on a crowd push that I could have avoided if I had paid attention to the frenzy Blitzer nearby. Too bad they didn't kill the niggling GR instead. Got another niggling injury on a healthy linerat, and a MNG on a niggling linerat. If only THAT had been reversed :( And although the stat line doesn't show it, I had a BH on one of my linerats caused when he failed a dodge. My KO box was pretty well populated for most of the match. Both teams had predominately Armor 7, yet the worse that Team Teamson suffered was the occassional stun. I don't think I even got a KO against the norse until late in the 2nd half, if at all. Fortunately for me, Nuffle decided to bless my opponent with a series of double skulls, a failed dodge, and a failed bonehead roll the moment his rerolls ran out. Moral of the story: always save a reroll to ward off Nuffle :)

Good game, I learned a lot and hopefully the dice will not be so cruel next time. Both teams played well and I'm happy to hold onto a tie. The crowd was so disgusted with Team Teamson's failure to score in the 2nd half (helped by a Blitz! on the kick-off roll), that he only received 20k. At least nobody lost FF.”
