“Wibbl First Game.
The Brading Wolves got their WIBBL campaign started with a tough match against the Khemri of Ventnor.
In typical blood bowl fashion the game was full of controversy with the ball seemingly covered in glue. 3 kick offs were caught directly (2 khemri 1 necros). The ref dismissed the allegations despite the fact the last catch was stuck to the back of a zombies head on the LOS.
The game was not as brutal as it should have been though with the only cas being a zombie.
The Khemri received and ran out a 1-0 lead at half time and that was the last we saw of the werewolf who clearly found something more interesting in the ko box....
The second half saw Shroudspike opening his account after being pushed over the line allowing time for the Khemri to score again.
There was one moment when it appeared that there was a chance of a draw as a desperate one die block sprung the ball loose again but it wasn't to be and the result was 2-1.”

Vinny caught the ball from the kick off and ran the ball home by turn 8.
We are patting ourselves on the back after the idea of putting a pile of bones (The ex coach) in the K.O box of the Brading Wolves. It worked well as by turn 2/3 The doggy went into there and never came back.
Second half saw a determined Shroudspike Spint for the TD line but came up one square short. Sam Sure Hands spinted after him, 2 gfi to push him over the line to make it 1-1.
From the kick off it turned into a mass fight again. Vinny picked up the ball but was knocked down again next turn. This lead to sam to run, pick up and pass to Fred who caught it at second attempt. He ran as fast as he could and scored in final turn to give Ventnor Vengence Seekers their first ever league win.
