“Things were much tougher for the Timberelves than they thought, as they seemed to glance into the future of their own team and saw... The Utah Jazz. Kelvin Garnett had some issues with the gameplan suggested by budding star, Oleksiy Pelpherov (Kevin wanted to hit 'me hard, Leks wanted to elfball it) and Kevin punched that white boy. The two would not set foot on the field at the same time the entire match.
The shorthanded Jazz squad pressured the T-Elves the way the T-Elves had hoped to do. Playing on their heels the first half and some uncharacteristically sloppy ball-handling gave the Jazz a turnover TD to start. Minnesota was able to counter score (and rally around Latrelf Spreewelf's choking Deron Williams in retaliation for the previous score), but wasn't able to hold off and NEARLY left enough time for the Jazz to go up 2-1 before the half... but for a dreaded buzzer highlighting a trip and fall by Jeff Hornacek.
The second half, the Jazz were able to score again, and in return the Timberelves had to try and score as quickly as possible in an effort to secure the win... alas. Utah battled enough to make Minnesota put themselves in a position to score as time expired - securing the tie.
Very well played, ronald. We hope we can be as dangerous as you when we are in a position similar to yours (which will inevitably happen ;)”
