So my beast went stupid the first 2 turns, and in the second turn he failed bone head on both his ogre and blitzer (handicap) which changed the plans a lot. And then my beast regenerated from an SI trying to blitz the boneheaded ogre. In fact, we failed a couple more rolls at that time (which meant both my turns ended early when I could have assist-fouled the stunned ogre!). I didn't play great and he used this opportunity to clear the field a bit, I had only 4 left by the time he scored (although Jésus made 2 CAS!).

In my 2nd half, things went upside down. Quickly I did a KO, 2 BH and an SI, leaving him 5 players on the field. He tried a miracle blitz and actually got the carrier down, but Jésus made a miracle and caught the bouncing ball. Jésus went forward with 2 beasts while the rest of my team surrounded his players, but I just couldn't seem to get them out. I scored with 2 turns left.

So with only 6 players and 2 turns, his chances of scoring were pretty slim. And he completely failed his pass in T7. I decided to try some blocks before trying the last-turn TD, but got a double skull. Heh, guess it was a bad idea. But it was too late for him to score.

1-1, very fun game, lots of great fans, and a couple injuries on each side.
