“Game III of the lizardman training march from TR150 to (hopefully) TR210.
They are entirely skeletons + mummies in a bid to keep TS low, though fortunately they only have 3 mummies on the squad at the moment. They get one handicap of bad press.
We kick and the punching starts on both sides. We manage a KO and two cas on skeletons while they have only KO'd one skink, so with this advantage we are able to hold them back and eventually turnover the ball on turn 3. The following turn we steal it and run down to their endzone. They are trying their hardest to hurt a saurus but have failed dodging a DP over to foul two turns in a row (burning up rerolls both times!). On turn 5 we manage to badly hurt a mummy and it doesn't regen- a massive boost for us!
On turn 7 their DP finally makes the dodge and a gang of khemri foul our kroxi for a stun. They do it again the following turn getting a -AV injury (apo fail) and a DP is sent off. We score on the final turn of the half to take the lead.
We now have 9 vs 9 for the 2nd half and they are out of DPs. We gather the ball with a skink in the rain and run through into their half mostly unopposed as they are trying to cause some damage instead. By turn 3 he's safe by their endzone while everyone else is fighting around the middle. On turn 3 a mummy KILLS one of our skinks and on turn 5 the other one KILLS a double-skilled saurus... ouch!! They never even attempt to chase after the ball so we opt not to score on T8 to not give them 3 more saurus to punch on the LOS.
